Growing up with monstrous buck teeth, Kathleen was forever determined to stay behind the camera. The endless hours of creating paid off when her artwork was exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. She furthered her ambitions by studying art at University of Wisconsin and Slade School of Fine Art.

With duties such as smiling and clapping, she thought she’d reached a career-high on her first job at Late Show with David Letterman. But before long, she decided to fuse her love of entertainment and design. Thus, a career in the art department was born! Working on countless sets, Kathleen showcased her talents for such clients as Disney, Green Day, Microsoft, Sony, and Visa. As if working with directors such as Oliver Stone, Nora Ephron, and Todd Haynes wasn’t enough, Kathleen decided to further her education.

While earning a master’s degree at Art Center College of Design, Kathleen was the recipient of a CLIO Award, Young Director Award at Cannes, multiple ADDYs and an AICP Award for her writing and directing work. As an ideas gal who makes things pretty, she continues to love working as both a director and creative.

Kathleen has traveled to over thirty countries and won a game show. She’s fond of Halloween, her daily planner, and exclamation points!
